Meet Danielle!

Danielle Harris is the Founder and CEO of D7ETTA Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating individuals on how to be fashionably sustainable in order to reduce waste and foster environmental responsibility. Born and raised in Baltimore City, Danielle’s values were shaped by her family’s legacy of creativity, compassion, and purpose. The name and mission of D7ETTA are inspired by her great-grandmother Henrietta, whose strength and principles served as a moral compass throughout Danielle’s life.

Her passion for fashion and sustainability was nurtured by her grandmother Joyce, a skilled seamstress who instilled in her the importance of creating with care and intention. Danielle was raised to see sustainability not as a trend, but as a lifestyle rooted in respect—for people, resources, and future generations. Her mother’s unwavering work ethic and resilience further shaped Danielle’s professional drive, guiding her through over a decade in the retail sector where she developed a strong understanding of the relationship between commerce and community.

In addition to her corporate and creative background, Danielle’s years in international missionary work broadened her worldview and deepened her commitment to service. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and brings hands-on experience in fashion design. Her approach has always been more than aesthetic—it’s about merging design with purpose, using fashion as a tool to clothe people in integrity, compassion, and care.

Danielle founded D7ETTA as a culmination of her lived experiences and personal mission. Under her leadership, the organization serves as a catalyst for change—empowering individuals through sustainable fashion education, hosting community-centered events, and championing ethical practices. For Danielle, building community is not just a goal—it’s her passion. She believes that when care, transparency, and action are woven together, true transformation is possible.
