I am Danielle Harris founder & CEO of D7ETTA Corporation a 501c3 non-profit organization that educate individuals on how to be fashionably sustainable to reduce waste. I was born and raised in Baltimore city. Growing up, my life was deeply influenced by my family's values and traditions. My great-grandmother Henrietta, a woman of strong principles and compassion, has been a guiding light in my journey, inspiring the name and ethos of D7ETTA. My love for fashion and sustainability was sparked by my grandmother Joyce (seen in video), an exceptional seamstress, who taught me the importance of creating with care and respect for our environment. With my grandparents, I grew up seeing sustainability as a lifestyle—I saw this way of life as being about respect – for the environment, for resources, and for future generations.

My mother, a woman of incredible resilience and work ethic, played a crucial role in shaping my professional outlook as well. Her lessons helped me navigate over a decade in the retail sector, where I developed a keen understanding of the delicate balance between successful business practices and community welfare.
Beyond my professional experience, I spent several years engaged in international missionary work. This period was transformative, broadening my perspectives and deepening my empathy, enriching both my personal and professional life in ways I never imagined.

Armed with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and practical experience in fashion design, I've always aimed to blend creativity with a purpose-driven approach. For me it was never just about designing clothes; it was about designing dreams, about clothing not just bodies but souls in the fabric of compassion and care.

However, my true passion has always been community building. I find immense joy in planning and hosting events that foster connection and unity, whether locally or abroad.
The creation of D7ETTA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is the culmination of my varied experiences and deep-seated desire to make a positive impact. Our mission is to intertwine sustainable practices, professional expertise, and a commitment to community welfare. At D7ETTA Corporation we're nurturing a community dedicated to making a difference and sewing seeds of change in our community.
